Crime Prevention 40-hour Training (PART II)

Texas Crime Prevention Association (TCPA) in collaboration with Texas Chisholm Trail Crime Prevention Association is offering a comprehensive 40-hour Crime Prevention Training course. The course is $250 per student. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the registration process.
Course covers: Place Oriented Problem Solving, Identifying and Addressing Gang Problems, Bullying, Drug Awareness, Introduction to CPTED, Business Crime Prevention Survey, Safes, Loss Prevention and Shoplifting and Violence in the Work Place.
This course will satisfy 40 hours of the necessary 106 hours required for the Certified Crime Prevention Specialist designation and proficiency from TCLEOSE.
Participants will receive hands-on training and will conduct a security/vulnerability assessment of commercial properties. The assessment will be conducted during the day as well as the night. Participants are also introduced to the latest security technologies and industry security standards. Participants will further be required to research, develop and present a community oriented public Safety briefing/presentation designed to develop Public Speaking skills and deliveries essential to Crime Prevention.
This course is open to all employees of law enforcement agencies, crime prevention security practitioners as well as volunteers that support local community crime prevention.
ALL STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE A STUDENT MANUAL
